Amazon on Canvas

Two-part documentary on the Amazon, with five million square kilometers, is the largest rainforest on Earth. We penetrate deep into the jungle, in the mysterious rainforest and the endless marshes.

The Amazon region is a haven for many animals, from tiny hummingbirds to pink freshwater dolphins. But it's often a hard and cruel place. The jungle is the ideal hunting ground for jaguars, caimans and harpies. But there also live turtles that attack faster than small snakes and tiny little frogs that protect giant tarantulas.
