Beijing Dance Festival 2014

Beijing Dance Festival | 北京舞蹈双周

The Beijing Dance Festival is co-organized by BeijingDance/LDTX, Guangdong Modern Dance Company and City Contemporary Dance Company (Hong Kong). Together with the Guangdong Dance Festival and China Dance Forward, they form the biggest contemporary dance network in China.

The Beijing Dance Festival was launched in 2008 and has hosted international and national programmes in alternating years. This year, it has evolved to a 2-week programme with one week of educational activities and one week of performances and showcases of national and international programmes.

Over the past years, the Beijing Dance Festival has built up a strong connection with Dutch dance professionals and companies. This year in 2014, three dance groups from the Netherlands will take part in symposiums, lead educational workshops and present their latest pieces of work:
