Branda Mantiqueira is unique in the Brazilian musical field. In a land where rhythm and vocal music prevail when it comes to popular music, this big band has managed to survive since 1991. And more than that! Because of the individual qualities of the musicians and composers the band has become a reference in Brazil. In collaboration with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw Branda Mantiqueira & Jazz Orchestra give a glimpse of the Brazilian jazz scene.
