Brazilian Jazz: Azymuth in MC Theater

With their blend of Latin and Afro-American jazz, the Brazilian band Azymuth is a guarantee for a party. For a moment it seemed that this top act would skip the Netherlands during their short tour in Europe last spring, but as part of the Brasil Festival they will be present in the MC Theater.

Azymuth has long been an established name among jazz fans and professionals, and does not need to win more souls. More interesting is that those who not really like jazz as a genre might actually enjoy Azymuth. Primarily because their music sounds very relaxed, funky and often swings.

The group exists since 1972, have produced nearly 30 albums and still play the original lineup. Recently their new 29th album, Aurora, came out. Again, the album received laudatory reviews!

For any lover of inimitable grooves and quality soloists Azymuth is an absolute must!
