Dutch designers remain immensely interested in China. The Chinese market offers a great deal of opportunities, but doing business in China requires solid preparation, focus and strong determination. Within the context of the DutchDFA programme, a series of tools and activities were developed to support Dutch designers entering the Chinese market. The DutchDFA China Update on 5 July in Amsterdam presents an update of the available tools. 

During the DutchDFA China Update on 5 July 2012 we will share with you the information collected in Design and Fashion Mapping of China commissioned by DutchDFA. The Association of Dutch Designers (BNO) together with Syntens and Chamber of Commerce Amsterdam will announce a design trade mission to the Canton Fair Guangzhou in October (more information – in Dutch). Finally, Dutch Design Desk South China and Dutch Design Workspace Shanghai present the services they offer Dutch designers.
