Facing China in Dutch museum Singer Laren

Reaching mega stardom in a short period of time. That happened to a number of young Chinese artists, also known as the ‘golden generation’. This group manifested itself during the late eighties.

Their talent was noticed by the Dutch collector Fu Ruide. For the first time in The Netherlands, the top collection is on display in the museum Singer Laren.  Facing China shows work from Liu Ye, Zhang Xiaogang, Fang Lijun, Yue Minjun, Yang Shaobin, Tang Zhigang, Chen QingQing, Zhao Nengzhi en Wei Dong.
