A good way to get to know more about Brazilian literature! The Book Fair is one of Brazil’s most important literary events. The Rio de Janeiro International Book Fair is a not-to-be-missed occasion where books play starring roles. For eager readers, this is a wonderful chance to meet their favorite writers while getting to know many others. During the eleven days of this event, the Riocentro Convention Centre hosts a real festival of culture, literature and education.

Some areas especially designed for each attraction allow the audience to join discussions and chats with cultural celebrities, and explore a broad range of entertaining activities that encourage reading.

Over the 11-day event, visitors will have the opportunity to meet in literary sessions, discussions and informal chats with their favorite authors to discuss different subjects.

For children, the Book Fair also features special activities: children's theater and storytellers presenting the fantastic world of books for children, showing how reading is fun and exciting.
