International visitor: Lizaveta Matveeva (RUS)
Lizaveta Matveeva is curator of LUDA Gallery in Saint Petersburg. This organization is an important meeting place for independent artists.
Last September DutchCulture travelled to Moscow and St.Petersburg to uncover new networks of independent cultural organizations and a new generation producers, artists, experts and mediators in Russia who stand out for their artistic quality, their professionalism, their wide network or their innovative approach. Based on this research we invited Lizaveta Matveeva to take part in our visitors programme.
Her working visit from March 28 to April 2 will focus on the themes of artist-in-residencies, creative spaces and incubators and self-organizing art initiatives in the Netherlands. DutchCulture will accompany Matveeva and introduce her to various organizations within the Dutch cultural sector.
