The National Carriage Museum presents an overal view of the various types of carriages and sleighs from the 18th to the 20th century. The 250 coaches in the museum’s collection were used by farmers, the common man, the nobleman and royalty. Every year the museum houses an exhibition with a special theme. There are also shows and various events. Carriages and sleighs are, on occasion, given on loan to other museums for their exhibitions. The museum plays an active rol in education and presentations.
