The Department of Tourism is one of the departments of the South African government. Its aim is to stimulate a 'growing and transformed, vibrant and globally competitive tourism sector that is reflective of the demographics of South Africa and contributes to the establishment of an equitable society'. The organisation tries to achieve this goal by providing a range of services to individuals and organsations in the tourism sector.
