Tresoar

Tresoar is the repository of the history of Fryslân. Here you will find countless newspapers and magazines published in Fryslân, hundreds of thousands of books including some books from the library of Erasmus, thousands of photos, films, sound recordings, court reports, legal deeds, Blaeu’s Atlas, manuscripts and letters by famous Frisians, the company archives of Douwe Egberts and archives of the Eleven (Frisian) Cities Association , CDs ranging from Frisian punk to Classical, a manuscript of “Noctes Atticae” made by monks and dating back to 836 AD and well over 150 bibliographies composed by J.J. Kalma, the oldest and most recent (Frisian) literature, scientific publications, digital files and much, much more.
