Brazilian Films screening in Amsterdam

This year Brazilian cinema will have the spotlight at the World Cinema Amsterdam. Next to a selection of feature films from a new and vibrant generation of Brazilian film makers, A Hora do Brasil Foundation brings a program with 5 Brazilian music film documentaries.

The Brazilian Summer Sessions Docs 2012 film program will be zooming in on the turbulent and creative scene of Brazilian music on the 60s and 70s, mainly targeting the Tropicália movement and its inspiration and repercussions for modern Brazilian music.
