Caixa Econômica Federal has opened a call for projects related to four distinct areas: Brazilian craftworks, dance and theatre festivals, Occupying Caixa Cultural Venues and Brazilian Cultural Heritage.

Brazilian craftworks (Artesanato Brasileiro). This call for projects aims to value and promote Brazilian craftworks within its diversity and richness.

Dance and Teatre festivals (Festivais de Teatro e Dança). Traditionally CAIXA supports theatre and dance in different regions of Brazil with the aim of strengthening  theater and dance groups, improve and publicize techniques and methods. The selection of projects aims to contemplate all the regions in Brazil, to stimulate and encourage the exchange of ideas and culture.

Occupying  Caixa Cultural Venues (Ocupação Espaços Caixa Cultural) is done through a annual public call for projects on a National level. The venues of Caixa Cultural are located in the following cities: Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza, Brasília, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre e São Paulo.

Brazilian Cultural Heritage (Patrimônio Cultural Brasileiro) program aims to preserve and study the cultural heritage in the national territory. This program was created to establish a new perspective of action, this is done through training human resources in the cultural heritage field, and also by direct investments in projects and heritage institutions.
