Dutch CG Guangzhou speaks at opening of HIYEAF 2013

On 23 August 2013, Consul General Mrs Anne Luwema attended the opening of the first Haikou International Youth Experimental Arts Festival 2013. There is a variety of Dutch arts programs at the festival including a design exhibition (Graphic Happiness), film screenings in the Dutch Film Week, music (Musician Martijn Tellinga) and dance (Amsterdam Urban Dance Group).

 “The Dutch government attaches great importance to culture and arts. The cultural sectors that we present at the HIYEAF are a good reflection of what the Dutch cultural policy takes as focal points in China for this year, i.e. the Creative Industry, and Film. To showcase this coming December we will participate in two big events Shenzhen Biennale and Guangzhou Documentary Festival, for which I would like to invite you all wholeheartedly.” Says Mrs Luwema.
