Dutch Minister of Education, Culture & Science in Brazil

The last week of June 2013, the Dutch Minister of Education, Culture & Science Jet Bussemaker is in Brazil. Brazil and the Netherlands have agreed that 2500 students can come and study in the Netherlands with support from Nuffic and the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research. The Minister wants to discuss opportunities for further cooperation.

Deputy Mayor of Amsterdam Carolien Gehrels visits Brazil in the last week of June as well. The Deputy Mayor heads a trade mission to maintain relations with current investors and make contact with potential new investors. An investment seminar is organized to interest Brazilian companies for the Amsterdam region.

In the same week the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is on tour in Brazil and gives performances in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
