Discover what is next from the Netherlands during the 10-day festival of music, new media, technology and film in Austin, Texas.

The Creative Industries Fund NL is supporting sixteen Dutch parties in presenting their projects, products and ideas at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2015. The selected parties are participating in the Interactive Programme, Game Expo, Film & Digital Domain and Award competition. The festival is from 13 to 22 March.

Some highlights
The SETUP Medialab in Utrecht is organizing a Knuffeldrones (Cuddly Drones) workshop on the role of drones in society, the prize-winning interactive documentary Love Radio Rwanda has been nominated in the Interactive Innovation competition, and IDFA is presenting its transmedia programme Immersive Reality. Like last year, designer Pauline van Dongen is participating in the festival, this time with ‘Body Informed 3D Printed Fashion’, her study of how data acquired through the body can be translated into 3D-printed patterns. Various Dutch games can be played at the Game Expo, among them Bounden, a dance game for two players on a smartphone, which was developed in collaboration with the Dutch National Ballet.
