Jie Sun wins international jewellery Prize
On Thursday October 11th, the 19th edition of the Enjoia’t Awards was held in Barcelona. This event promotes and rewards originality, technique and creativity in the field of jewelry and serves as a platform for young designers and for the recognition of professionals.
The event consisted of two parts, one where the selected participants presented their creations to the Jury [this year formed by Grego García (Creator and Manager Amaranto Joies), Cristina Julià (Joid'art Creative Director), Toni Francesc (Fashion Designer ), Marta Sanchez (Jeweler and Editor of the Blog 18kt) and Magda Polo (Doctor in Philosophy of Art and Chair of A-FAD)] as well as a second part of the festival, held at the Moritz Factory and attended by large crowds, where the 20 finalists walked with their entries and talked with the audience, interacting with them.
Chinese designer Jie Sun, working and living in Amsterdam, was awarded the first prize in the category: professional. He is also nominated for "the New Traditional Jewellery Design Contest 2012-New Nomads", to be presented on november 1st
