Join ‘Holland in my eyes’ video campaign

‘Holland in my eyes’, is the first digital event focusing on video to help highlight key aspects of Dutch higher education to major Chinese stakeholders. The goal is to portray Holland through the eyes of Chinese students. Registration is open for Dutch institutions and Chinese students in the Netherlands.

Neso China, The Netherlands Alumni Network in China (NANC) and the Association of Chinese Students and Scholars in the Netherlands (ACSSNL) are organising this specific campaign for the Chinese market as a part of the worldwide Study in Holland branding.

Digital promotion

‘Holland in my eyes’ provides a vivid digital platform to showcase your institution. Dutch higher education institutions are invited to make their own videos by adding narratives of their Chinese students and alumni who are currently in the Netherlands. All the video material will be promoted through Neso China’s online and offline channels: the Neso China website, Neso China social media platforms, education fairs and Holland Day events.

Please note: all videos need to be in Chinese or translated with Chinese subtitles to minimise the language barrier for local students and parents.

Registration for institutions

If you want to join the campaign with your institution, you need to:

  1. Inform your Chinese students about the Holland in my eyes video campaign. 
  2. Work together with them to produce a 5-to-8 minutes video that will give an impression of the daily life of a Chinese student at your university. Also, encourage your students to join the video competition individually.
  3. Upload your video and fill in your information on the NANC website before 30 November 2013.

 

Registration for students

All students who are currently studying in the Netherlands are invited to participate and take videos of their own school in which they can incorporate several themes, such as study environment, social activities, international class room setting, and accommodation.

The finalists will win gift vouchers with a value ranging from € 100 to € 300, as well as small gifts from Neso China.
