RAW China Expo 2013 - announced

Field of Dreams is organizing RAW Art Fair again in 2013. Just as last year, the fair will include an extraordinary and spectacular RAW EXPO.

RAW EXPO will be open from Wednesday the 6th of February until Rotterdam Museum Night on Saturday the 9th of March 2013. The second edition of RAW ART FAIR and RAW EXPO will be located in the monumental warehouse Santos in the district of Katendrecht in Rotterdam. Katendrecht is traditionally the place where the first generation Chinese established themselves as labor-immigrants and embodies the stable relationship between Rotterdam and China.

RAW EXPO has chosen to associate the exhibition to a theme this time, namely: China.

Piet de Jonge (former head-conservator of Kröller Müller Museum, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen and Van Abbemuseum) will be the curator exhibition. This year he will be supported by Benjamin Li and Beatrijs Dikker. Owner and curator of Canvas International Art, Martijn Kielstra, is appointed as the adviser of the exhibition.

For the exhibition they are searching for Chinese artists who work or exhibit in the Netherlands, or artists who deal with the specific theme/subject of China in their work.
