Van Gogh visited Hong Kong

From 16 July until 4 August, Hong Kong’s Gallery by the Harbour hosted the premiere of a collection of reproductions of works by Vincent van Gogh. These premium three-dimensional reproductions, direct from the Van Gogh Museum, comprise Van Gogh’s most celebrated masterpieces, replicated precisely in size, colour, brightness and texture.

This event was organized with the full support from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, and approved by the curators of the museum. The collection included reproductions of five of the artist’s most well-known works: Sunflowers (1889), Wheatfield Under Thunderclouds (1890), Almond Blossoms (1890), The Harvest (1888), and Boulevard de Clichy (1887).
