Culture Talk: How to make Brazilian museums future-proof

Visiting Brazilian experts explain how they parry current challenges
Date(s)

Brazil's rich culture and history is represented in its museums, from the National Museum of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro to the Abolition Museum in Recife. Our guests from the Brazilian Institute of Museums (IBRAM) will elaborate on how the institute currently supports its museums to guarantee the right to memory, access to cultural heritage and respect for diversity in Brazil:

  • Renata Silva - Head of Corporate Management at IBRAM
  • Priscila Borges - Head of Museum Studies and Economics at IBRAM
  • Patrícia Albernaz - Coordinator of Strategies and Sustainability at IBRAM
  • Rosângela Nuto - Coordinator of Product Marketing at IBRAM

Dutch-Brazilian museum exchange
The Brazilian museum experts of IBRAM are visiting the Netherlands at the invitation of DutchCulture and the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands.
