Active Cues is an interactive installation with games for dementia patients It was developed during the PhD research of Hester Le Riche as a game for the elderly with moderate to severe dementia. The goal is to get them to instinctively participate by projecting games, consisting of interactive light animations, on to a table in order to stimulate physical and social activity. Active Cues won the Dutch Game Awards 2015 for best serious game.

Oproep voor deelname Roadshow Games India

U kunt zich tot 7 maart aanmelden voor een missie die in vijf dagen vier hotspots van de Indiase game industry bezoekt.

De Indiase vereniging voor de game industrie Nasscom, Dutch Game Association, de Nederlandse ambassade in New Delhi en DutchCulture organiseren een 'roadshow' langs vier belangrijke steden in de Indiase game industrie: Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore en Delhi. De roadshow loopt vooruit op de Nasscom Game Developers Conference in het najaar van 2016 waar Nederland focusland is.

De reis vindt plaats van 17 tot 23 april 2016. Er is plek voor twaalf deelnemers, varierend van game ontwikkelaars, ontwerpers en studio's tot onderzoekers en producenten/uitgevers, van zowel serious als casual games.

U kunt zich tot 7 maart aanmelden bij DutchCulture. Bij de selectie van de deelnemers kijken de organiserende partners onder andere naar uw plannen met of in India.
