Caption
Set within the UNESCO-listed arboretum of Fredriksoord in the Netherlands, 'The Reading Room in the Forest', designed and built by Studio-Method, is a retreat space part of DeProef, a new hub for art and ecology. Constructed with 98% salvaged materials, the lowtech pavilion explores architectural possibilities grounded in reuse, improvisation, and repair, rather than efficiency or industrial newness.

International Clinic: European Collaborations

Take a look at what European collaboration in the creative industry can look like, how to find opportunities and what role embassies and funds can play.
Date(s)
Thursday 30 October 2025 15:30 - 18:00

What does European collaboration actually look like? How do you find opportunities, where do you begin, and what role can embassies and funds play in supporting you?

This iteration of the international clinic organised together with Nieuwe Instituut is aimed at early- and mid-career practitioners from the creative industry who want to expand their practice in Europe. Together, we will explore European collaboration not just in practical terms, but also in its deeper value: connecting with networks abroad, sharing knowledge and challenges, and building meaningful exchanges with peers in neighbouring countries.

Through conversations with makers, curators, and advisors, we will delve into the opportunities, experiences, and challenges of working in the European context, while offering hands-on advice and good practices for collaboration.
