Are you an emerging artist or creative? Do you want to expand your international horizon? On 6 September, DutchCulture's Lotte Geeven and Simon de Leeuw will meet you at the creative community of Kunstlicht in Amsterdam-Noord, to tell you all about international opportunities for emerging creatives.

Simon will introduce how DutchCulture can help you get started in the international arts. After that, artist and residency advisor Lotte Geeven will show you a (world)wide range of residencies in our TransArtist database, how to find them, and what you should pay attention to when responding to open calls. While aimed at emerging artists, this event is open to all and free of charge.

After the event, Kunstlicht offers dinner and closes the workshop with a networking drink on the roof terrace. Don't miss out!

DutchCulture offers free networking, information, and advice for all makers and creatives who want to go abroad. Our mission is to help professionals realise their international cultural ambitions based on inclusivity, reciprocity, and sustainability.

Kunstlicht Amsterdam acts as a springboard for creatives and young professionals by offering affordable workspaces. They also organise small-scale meetings for people to inspire each other. they are committed to culturally free havens in the city of Amsterdam to ensure that valuable makers can continue to work there and that Amsterdammers can continue to use their services. They take an active role in the neighbourhood and aim to grow into a space where they can launch even more exciting projects that benefit the entire community. Think of open days for schools, workshops, and free shops.
