Amarte Fund: Film - Development grant

Amarte Fund: Film - Development grant

Amarte Fonds: Film - Ontwikkelbijdrage
Funding for filmmakers for research or experimentation

The Amarte Foundation was founded in 2019 by a number of families that share a deep love for the arts. Together they decided to offer financial means to innovative artists and support projects in music, theatre, film, visual arts, and literature. Amarte would like to serve as a springboard for artists, which is why they offer both development grants and project grants to realize relatively small scale projects.

The Film Development grant is meant to support writers directors and (creative) producers to develop feature films, documentaries and/or animation films (among other formats). This may include travel abroad. Applicants may not have a concrete film plan yet, but should share what they are planning to work on in this period.

Amarte doensn’t only offer support with financial means, but also with expertise or coaching for the development of a project. If an application is granted, Amarte offers an extra sum on top of the financial grant for a collaboration with an expert.
