Culture Fund: Panorama
The Culture Fund (formerly the Prins Bernard Cultuurfonds) is a private fund that supports projects in the fields of culture and nature conservation in the Netherlands. Additionally, it awards various international cultural scholarships to talented creators.
Panorama is a grant that supports artisitic reaearch abroad focused on 'non-Western' sources, repertoire, and perspectives within the domains of theatre, dance, and film.
Since 2025, individual creators and collectives can submit a project application through the 'Individual Creators and Collectives' application route. This fast-track application process allows creators or collectives to receive funding for professional development or a public-oriented activity.
- Directors, theatre writers, choreographers, artists, scenographers, filmmakers, screenwriters, and dramaturgs based in the Netherlands;
- Both emerging and established artists;
- Panorama is open to individuals, including those with their own foundation or company.
A maximum of €5,000.
The research:
- provides a new and complementary perspective on the existing 'Western' canon;
- must be conducted abroad;
- is relevant to a wide audience, and applicants should have an idea of how and to whom the research findings will be made accessible;
