Funding for artistic research abroad focused on 'non-Western' sources, repertoire, and perspectives

The Culture Fund (formerly the Prins Bernard Cultuurfonds) is a private fund that supports projects in the fields of culture and nature conservation in the Netherlands. Additionally, it awards various international cultural scholarships to talented creators.

Panoroma is a grant that supports artisitic reaearch abroad focused on 'non-Western' sources, repertoire, and perspectives within the domains of theatre, dance, and film.

  • Directors, theatre writers, choreographers, artists, scenographers, filmmakers, screenwriters, and dramaturgs based in the Netherlands;
  • Both emerging and established artists;
  • Panorama is open to individuals, including those with their own foundation or company.

Requirements

The research:

  • provides a new and complementary perspective on the existing 'Western' canon;
  • must be conducted abroad;
  • is relevant to a wide audience, and applicants should have an idea of how and to whom the research findings will be made accessible;
