The Dutch Foundation for Literature is the national fund for Dutch literature, based in Amsterdam (Netherlands). The fund is one of the 6 national cultural funds in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The Translators’ House in Amsterdam was founded in 1991 and is part of the Dutch Foundation for Literature. It is a member of RECIT, the European network of translator houses. The Translators House welcomes translators from Dutch literature in all genres into any language. The house continuously hosts five translators of Dutch literature. They can stay and work at the the house for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of two months, allowing them to strengthen their networks and immerse themselves in the Dutch language and culture.

€ 1,000 / month plus travel costs.
Translators who wish to apply for a stay must
- have a translation contract for a Dutch literary work;
- be on the list of accredited Dutch literary translators of the literary funds (from the Dutch Foundation for Literature and Flanders Literature).
