Funding for projects that strenghten the relationship between the Netherlands and Indonesia

The Marinus Plantema Foundation is named after Mr. Marinus Plantema, in his lifetime a director of the Bank of Java and later of Bank Mees & Hope, a prominent Dutch bank (now MeesPierson). The foundation's main objective is to support activities, projects, research, or studies in the field of culture, education and science, that promote the bilateral relationships between The Kingdom of Netherlands and Indonesia.

  • Applicants should in principle not be older than 70 years.

The requested contribution is not to be used for covering traveling expenses.

The applicant should contribute at least 10 % of the requested amount, and should preferably have third party contribution(s).

Requirements
  • The project, study or activity must meet the objectives of the Foundation;
  • Each project, study or other activity should be clearly described and the objectives need to be substantiated in detail;
  • Each application must be accompanied by a CV of the applicant, containing schooling, publications, seminars and contributions to congresses (if any).
