Netherlands Film Fund & Norwegian Film Institute: Minority co-productions

Netherlands Film Fund & Norwegian Film Institute: Minority co-productions

NFF & NFI: Minoritaire coproducties
Funding for international documentaries with a Dutch and a Norwegian co-producer

The Norwegian Film Institute (NFI) and the Netherlands Film Fund have signed an agreement to encourage the production of long documentaries co-produced by Norway and The Netherlands.

Dutch film producers can apply at the Film Fund, for funding for the realisation of a minority co-production of a feature-length documentary. Apart from the quality of the content of the script, the artistic value, individual character and urgency of the project, the NFF looks at the creative and technical spending in the Netherlands, the international track record of both the Dutch and other (co-)producers and a real prospect of future cooperation between the two producers.
