Funding for organising a film training or talent lab

The Netherlands Film Fund is the national cultural fund for the professional, independent film sector in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. It provides financial support for the development, production and distribution of film productions and film-related activities.

This scheme allows funding for organising a short-term training program or Talent Lab of up to one year. The training can be held in the Netherlands or internationally and should facilitate knowledge exchange among film professionals, specifically in development, (post-)production, distribution, exhibition, or innovation in the film sector.

Who can apply
Organisations

An organisation based in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, equipped for this purpose and specialised in organising training and/or labs for film professionals. The organisation has been offering such training for two years or longer.

Requirements

The training or Talent Lab must

  • have a demonstrable connection to Dutch film practice;
  • be of a professional and high-quality level;
  • enhance the expertise and skills of participants within their respective fields.
