Stokroos Foundation: Seed Grant
Stokroos Foundation: Seed Grant
The Stokroos Foundation was founded in 1992 by Paul Deiters (1952-2017). His love for people, nature, and art inspired him to contribute to a better world. In 2005, Stokroos began implementing its objective: to support designers and visual artists. The foundation's interest lies in creative practices and plans that blend tradition and innovation in a surprising way. Practices that involve the use of traditional craft methods are therefore given special priority.
Through the Seed Grant, the foundation aims to contribute to the professional development of contemporary visual creators in an accessible manner. The goal of the grant is to support a broad and diverse group of promising talents, enabling them to take a meaningful step forward in their practice. It supports projects that focus on artistic experimentation, research, and/or the realisation of new work or an innovative initiative. This may include travel abroad.
Stokroos Foundation does not provide support for projects that primarily focus on the realisation of a publication, participation in an exhibition or presentation by an organisation or institution, or participation in a residency.
