Open Call: FILE 2025 – Art and Technology

DutchCulture is pleased to share that FILE (Electronic Language International Festival) is now accepting applications for its 2025 edition! This is an exciting opportunity for artists, creators, developers, and researchers to present their work at one of the leading art and technology festivals in the world. FILE 2025 will take place from July 15 to September 7, 2025, at the iconic FIESP Cultural Center in São Paulo, Brazil.

FILE welcomes submissions from both national and international practitioners working at the intersection of art and technology. We are seeking innovative projects across a range of disciplines, including but not limited to:

• Installations
• Robotics
• CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery)
• Virtual and Augmented Reality
• Animations
• Mobile Art
• Games
• Kinetic Art
• Public Art

Projects that engage the public, incorporate Artificial Intelligence, or explore interactive elements are highly encouraged. Whether you're pushing the boundaries of creative expression or exploring the social impact of technology, FILE provides a platform to showcase your vision to an international audience.

FILE is a non-profit cultural organization committed to fostering experimentation and development in the realm of art and technology. This 24th edition offers an unparalleled chance to engage with new audiences, network with fellow innovators, and exhibit your work in a prestigious venue.

In addition to the festival, applicants can opt to participate in:

• FILE LED SHOW: Display your work at the FIESP Digital Art Gallery as part of an annual LED showcase.
• FILE WORKSHOP: Share your expertise by leading a session, contributing to the collaborative spirit of FILE.
