Open call by the Dutch Embassy in Egypt

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Egypt is now accepting proposals from organisations working in the field of culture and development in Egypt.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Egypt is proposing an open call. The aim is to give arts and culture the support it needs to play a more active role as vehicles for social and cultural development. Submitted projects should contribute to fulfilling one or more of the following objectives:

  • Harnessing the power of the cultural sector and creative industries in socially engaged efforts to achieve sustainable development goals.
  • Supporting the Egyptian cultural scene and empowering cultural actors and organizations.
  • Promoting sustainable preservation of tangible and intangible heritage.
  • Fostering partnerships with the Dutch cultural sector.

The open call is addressed to organizations working in the field of culture and development in Egypt. It supports projects in the fields of Cultural Heritage, Design, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Film, and Literature. Interdisciplinary projects are highly encouraged. The deadline for handing in proposals is 31 March 2022.
