Villa Arson (in Nice, France, for the period of September 22 to December 19, 2025) Villa Arson is a public institution of the ministry of Culture, located in Nice and a legal entity of Université Côte d'Azur. Inaugurated in 1972, it was conceived from the outset as a highly innovative establishment combining several complementary functions in favour of contemporary creation: teaching, research, experimentation, production, dissemination, promotion and support. The Villa Arson school of art, contemporary art center, artists’ residency and specialized library form a unique ecosystem dedicated to supporting young generations of artists towards professional practices, presenting original artistic visions and facilitating critical exchange with an international perspective. Spread over 13000 sq feet, the Villa Arson art center presents an international exhibition program arising in part from projects led with guest artists and curators who explore the most contemporary artistic practices and generate stimulating encounters. Designed by Michel Marot as a Mediterranean village overlooking the Bay of Angels, Villa Arson welcomes residents for its teaching and research activities and as part of tailor-made partnerships for artistic production and research.
CEAAC (in Strasbourg, France, for a period of three months from October to December 2025) Founded in 1987, the Centre européeen d’actions artistiques contemporaines (CEAAC - European Centre for Contemporary Artistic Actions) aims to support, produce and promote contemporary art for all audiences. Located in an Art Nouveau building in the heart of Strasbourg since 1995, the CEAAC organises exhibitions and events showcasing the richness and diversity of regional, national and international contemporary creation. Its artistic programme and areas of research includes the status of images in a fast-changing environment, vernacular culture and know-how, and public health issues. In parallel, it develops and implements specific outreach programs for schools (all grades from nursery to university) and audiences with special needs. For over twenty years, CEAAC has been organising cross-residencies for artists and researchers in collaboration with an international network of institutions and cultural organisations. This exchange programme currently involves partners in Germany (basis e.V., Frankfurt), Spain (Hangar, Barcelona), Hungary (Budapest Gallery), Italy (IUNO, Rome) and the Czech Republic (MeetFactory, Prague, and Institut français de Prague). Since 2023, it has also been offering short curatorial residencies (Hop) and a production residency for invited artists.
