Call for proposals: Fair Collaboration Toolkit

EUNIC Global is commissioning a Toolkit for Fair Collaboration and is looking for a team of authors.
By Lotte Bosch

How can successful ‘fair collaboration’ be defined internationally, when working in line with the European principles of cultural relations? And how can mutual listening, learning and engaging in dialogue and co-creation, help build fair partnerships? The call for proposals for the Toolkit for Fair Collaboration centres around these questions, in line with the EU strategy for international cultural relations that forms the basis of EUNIC’s work.

The Toolkit for Fair Collaboration must provide concrete ideas, recommendations and instruments for working in the field of cultural relations with partners in local settings in a fair way. It should be a practical and comprehensive guide for colleagues working globally in EUNIC members, offering innovative and applicable ways of raising awareness of the topic and of engaging with the target audience to adapt existing practices of cultural relations towards fair collaboration.

For whom?

Cultural professionals are welcome to submit a proposal for the toolkit. The authors should have good knowledge of the work of international cultural institutes – including in the global South – as well as of EUNIC and its members.

Deadlines & more info

The deadline for submission of proposals is Sunday, 28 March 2021. The final Toolkit should be submitted by October 2021. Find more information on EUNIC's website.
