On Fair Grounds - Starting Out! at Dutch Design Week

A student-led programme connecting early-career creatives to fair practice, international networks, and new perspectives at Dutch Design Week Eindhoven.

Set within the UNESCO-listed arboretum of Fredriksoord in the Netherlands, 'The Reading Room in the Forest', designed and built by Studio-Method, is a retreat space part of DeProef, a new hub for art and ecology. Constructed with 98% salvaged materials, the lowtech pavilion explores architectural possibilities grounded in reuse, improvisation, and repair, rather than efficiency or industrial newness.
