Scholarships for talented young artists for postgraduate education abroad

The Culture Fund (formerly the Prins Bernard Cultuurfonds) is a private fund that supports projects in the fields of culture and nature conservation in the Netherlands. Additionally, it awards various international cultural scholarships to talented creators, including visual artists.

Who can apply
Individuals

Talented young artists who have the Dutch nationality, who have graduated from a (preferably Dutch) art academy, and who wish to pursue further education (Master visual arts, photography, (graphic) design, (social) design, architecture, fashion, textiles, ceramics, glass, etc. ) outside the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

This may be a Master's program (or a part of it), outside the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

How much

A maximum of €20,000.

Requirements
  • Graduated from an art academy. In case of a foreign diploma, it must be recognised in the Netherlands and equivalent to a Dutch Bachelor's (hbo) or Master's (wo) degree;
  • Dutch nationality or registered in the Netherlands for at least 3 years;
  • Applicants can only apply for a scholarship once.
