Interreg Deutschland-Nederland: Small Projects Fund
Interreg is an EU program that promotes cross-border cooperation between regions to reduce development disparities and enhance economic cohesion. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), it operates in cycles aligned with the EU budget, with nearly 8 billion euros allocated for 2021-2027. Interreg supports various cross-border projects across Europe to foster regional collaboration and development.
The small project fund, which is part of the Interreg VI programme, aims to improve cross-border social cohesion between Germany and the Netherlands through small-scale initiatives. The fund focuses on the following topics: education, governance, health and promoting cooperation between citizens including art, culture, sport, history, heritage and tourism.
Cultural professionals as well as municipalities, associations of municipalities, associations, companies, etc.
- A maximum of €25.000 (max. 50% of the entire costs) can be requested for medium-scale projects.
- A maximum of €750 can be requested for small-scale projects.
- There is clearly a German-Dutch project from which the German-Dutch collaboration is evident.
- Both the applicant and the project partner are situated in the Interreg Program area.
- The activities take place within the Interreg Program area.
