Funding for participating in a film training

At the Film Fund, you can apply for a contribution for a short-term training, either in the Netherlands or abroad, in the field of development, (post)production, and/or distribution/screening of film productions, as well as innovation in the film sector.

Who can apply

Individuals

A natural person from the Kingdom of the Netherlands who has been working as a film professional for at least two years, with demonstrable solid specialized knowledge and experience in their own field of film production, which should be current and of a professional level.

For what

Travel

Participation fees (excluding VAT), travel, and accommodation costs.

How much

Up to 75% of eligible costs, with a maximum of €3,000 per year, as compensation for individual training costs for a film professional active within the Dutch film sector.

The training must

demonstrably relate to the Dutch film practice
be of a professional and high-quality standard
enhance the professional knowledge and skills of the applicant within their own field.
