Euregio Scheldemond: Scheldemond Fund
Euregio Scheldemond is a cooperation within the Scheldemond Euregion between the provinces of East Flanders, West Flanders, and Zeeland, It provides sustainable frameworks for addressing current (spatial) challenges and anticipates future needs. The goal is also to contribute to better coordination in the area of environmental policy among the different provinces.
The Scheldemond Fund a fully autonomous grant program, independent of European criteria. Each year, the three provinces contribute €75,000 to the fund. The fund supports small-scale projects that focus on cross-border themes such as culture and heritage, tourism, education, inter-municipal cooperation, entrepreneurship, as well as spatial themes like mobility and water management.
Organisations, associations, foundations, municipalities, schools, It is important that at least one partner from both sides of the border (a Dutch and a Belgian project partner) participates in the project.
100% of the entire costs can be requested.
- The projects should be carried out by partners from at least two regions of the Euregio Scheldemond;
- The project aims to strengthen the sense of togetherness of the people in the Euregio and/or relationship between the different regions.
