Open Call: ArtsMap Micro Support Gender Equality
In a week where International Women's Day was celebrated and marched for widely, ArtsMap draws attention to their second open call. And because ArtsMap stands for equality across all genders, their new Micro Support fund is more relevant than ever.
ArtsMap is a digital ecosystem that connects artists in Turkey and the Netherlands with each other. The platform engages its network through different activities, amongst which is the Micro Support open call that takes place twice a year. The open calls are themed each time, inspired by the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The second open call is all about Goal 5: Gender Equality.
Gender Equality is not just a fundamental human right, but also a prerequisite for a world that is peaceful, affluent, and sustainable. ArtsMap is therefore calling on artists to form partnerships and apply for the Gender Equality Micro Support fund. Acting together in creating new initiatives moves us towards a more equal world.
Projects that are eligible to apply:
- Must be a collaboration between professionals from the Netherlands and Turkey
- Must be an initiative by registered ArtsMap members
- Can be a collaboration between organisations and/or individuals from the arts and culture sector
- Can be offline or online projects
- Draw attention to gender equality in any way, shape or form
You can apply for up to € 1.000 seed money for your collaborative project. The deadline for applying is 30 March 2022.
Do you have ideas for a project, but not yet a specific partner in mind? Get in touch with our Turkey Advisor Aylin Özalp to ask for advice.
Are you not an ArtsMap member yet, but would you like to be? You can register here before applying for the Micro Support fund. Besides an open call twice a year, the platform offers the opportunity to engage in cultural speed dates, as well as capacity building programs held in Turkey. Don't miss out!
