Michel Banabila, born in 1961 in Amsterdam, is a sound artist, composer, and producer. He has created musical scores for numerous films, documentaries, video installations, theatre productions, and choreographies. Banabila performs live with immersive audiovisual (AV) shows and has worked in the Netherlands, Poland, Lebanon, the UK, South Africa, Russia, Japan, Spain, China, the USA, and Belgium. In addition to acoustic instrumentation, he uses samples, electronics, synthesizers, and field recordings.
